ANSYS Mechanical

Structural analysis with ANSYS Mechanical provides robust general purpose stress, thermal, modal and fatigue simulations, greater engineering insight with advanced nonlinear stress simulations and comprehensive linear dynamics, and in-depth analysis of structure and coupled-field behavior in a highly productive, comprehensive simulation environment. With the ANSYS Mechanical Enterprise package you can model advanced materials, complex environmental loadings and industry-specific requirements in areas such as offshore hydrodynamics and layered composite materials.

Plus of course ANSYS Mechanical integrates seamlessly with the full range of ANSYS Multiphysics solutions.

ANSYS CFD gives you full access to world-class computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools so that you can enjoy the fastest, most accurate results across any fluid or multiphysics application. This comprehensive software bundle includes full versions of ANSYS Fluent, CFX, Forté and Polyflow. ANSYS CFD is a tool with amazing flexibility, accuracy and breadth of application. But serious CFD, the kind that provides insights to help you optimize your designs, could be out of reach unless you choose your software carefully. ANSYS CFD goes beyond qualitative results to deliver accurate quantitative predictions of fluid interactions and trade-offs.

ANSYS AIM is an easy-to-use simulation environment designed for all engineers. It offers integrated single discipline and multiphysics solutions based on best-in-class solver technologies in a modern, new, immersive user environment that enables engineers to rapidly evaluate product design performance with confidence. ANSYS AIM makes upfront simulation easy by combining intuitive, guided workflows, accurate simulation results and optimization in a complete simulation tool. Whether a simulation includes electromagnetics, thermal, structures, or fluids or combinations thereof, all aspects of simulation workflow are included in the single-window design, which enables you to predict complete product performance with results you can trust. AIM’s powerful parametric and optimization capabilities can automatically explore the design space thoroughly and find the best design faster.

ANSYS Icepak uses the renowned ANSYS Fluent computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solver engine for accurate thermal and fluid flow calculations. ANSYS Icepak accurately predicts airflow, temperature and heat transfer in a wide variety of electronic and power electronic components and PCBs. It can also perform thermal analysis of system- level applications such as data centers, computers and telecommunications equipment. Icepak enables you to test conceptual designs under operating conditions that might be impractical to duplicate with physical testing, and can give you access to data at locations that might be physically inaccessible on an actual component.

ANSYS SpaceClaim

ANSYS SpaceClaim is a fast and intuitive 3-D modeling software solution that enables any analyst or engineer to create, edit and repair geometry no matter where they are in the workflow. It is a CAD neutral tool that enables you to quickly and easily manipulate geometry yourself, instead of sending it back to the CAD department. Using SpaceClaim, CAE drives product innovation and development from the start of the design process to accelerate time to analysis and increase efficiencies in product design/production.

ANSYS HFSS software is the industry standard for simulating high-frequency electromagnetic fields. Its gold-standard accuracy, advanced solvers and high-performance computing technologies make it an essential tool for engineers tasked with executing accurate and rapid design in high-frequency and high-speed electronic devices and platforms. HFSS offers state-of the-art solver technologies based on finite element, integral equation, asymptotic and advanced hybrid methods to solve a wide range of microwave, RF and high-speed digital applications.

HFSS delivers 3-D full-wave accuracy for components to enable RF and high-speed design. By leveraging advanced electromagnetic field simulators dynamically linked to powerful harmonic-balance and transient circuit simulation, HFSS breaks the cycle of repeated design iterations and lengthy physical prototyping. With HFSS, engineering teams consistently achieve best-in-class design in a broad range of applications including antennas, phased arrays, passive RF/mW components, high-speed interconnects, connectors, IC packaging and PCBs.

ANSYS Maxwell

ANSYS Maxwell is the industry-leading electromagnetic field simulation software for the design and analysis of electric motors, actuators, sensors, transformers and other electromagnetic and electromechanical devices. With Maxwell, you can precisely characterize the nonlinear, transient motion of electromechanical components and their effects on the drive circuit and control system design. By leveraging Maxwell’s advanced electromagnetic field solvers and seamlessly linking them to the integrated circuit and systems simulation technology, you can understand the performance of electromechanical systems long before building a prototype in hardware. This virtual electromagnetic lab gives you an important competitive advantage with faster time to market, reduced costs and improved system performance.
